Problem

Unable to log in with Google Log-In to Weava.

Solution

The most common issue to not being able to log in with Google Log-In is because of 3rd party cookies being disabled.

Google Log-In doesn't work when 3rd party cookies are disabled. To resolve this issue, you must enable 3rd party cookies in your browser. If you do not want to enable 3rd party cookies, then you will have to select a different login method via Facebook or with an email and password.

To enable 3rd party cookies in a browser, please follow these instructions:

Google Chrome (PC)

  1. Click the Chrome menu icon Chrome Setting.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Scroll down to the Privacy and security section.

  4. Click on Cookies and other site data.

  5. Click on "Allow" all cookies (recommended).

  6. Click Done.

Google Chrome (Mac)

  1. Open Chrome preferences click on Settings, then Show Advanced Settings.

  2. Under Privacy, click on Content Settings.

  3. Make sure "Block third-party cookies and site data" is unchecked.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  2. Click on the More actions button on the toolbar, and select Settings.

  3. Search for View advanced settings and click on it.

  4. Under Cookies section, select to allow third party cookies.

  5. Restart Edge.

Opera (PC)

  1. Click on the "Tools" menu.

  2. Click Preferences...

  3. Change to the Advanced tab, and to the cookie section.

  4. Click "Accept cookies."

  5. Ensure the "Delete new cookies when exiting Opera" box unchecked.

  6. Click OK.

Opera (Mac)

  1. Click the Opera menu at the top of the screen.

  2. Click Preferences.

  3. Click in to the "Search settings" box and type in "cookies" (it's not case sensitive). As you type in "Cookies" you will see Opera start to change what's shown on the settings page.

  4. Scroll down to the Cookies preferences section.

  5. Enable cookies in Opera by selecting the first option - "Allow local data to be set (recommended)."
