Extensions with compatibility issues with Weava

While Weava is compatible with nearly all other Chrome extensions, there are confirmed cases where Weava is not working properly with the following extensions listed below in this article. While we hope to have fixes for such issues in the future and will continue to investigate areas we can improve, the issues below are caused by the other extensions — which prevent Weava from highlighting and working properly. Therefore, should you encounter these issues, we kindly suggest that you contact the support team of the extension you are having compatibility issues with and see if there is anything they can fix on their side to address the issue(s).

Mercury Reader

Issue encountered: If the Mercury Reader is enabled in your browser, the highlighting feature of Weava will not work, since Mercury reader is a pop-up blocker, Weava has a color popup component, where you can select a color, enter notes, and select folders.

Issue encountered: When highlighting in KAMI, the highlighted part will be covered by a solid color, the highlighted text will not be readable.
