Extensions with compatibility issues with Weava

This article lists down extensions that Weava has issues with. These applications prevent Weava from highlighting and working properly.

NOTE: This document is a living document. It will be updated upon discovering other chrome extensions that have compatibility issues with Weava.

Mercury Reader - The Mercury Reader extension for Chrome removes ads and distractions, leaving only text and images for a clean and consistent reading view on every site.

Issue encountered: If the Mercury Reader is enabled in your browser, the highlighting feature of Weava will not work, since Mercury reader is a pop-up blocker, Weava has a color popup component, where you can select a color, enter notes, and select folders.

KAMI -  Kami is the all-in-one tool that transforms any document, PDF, image, or any other learning resource into an interactive learning environment.

Issue encountered: When highlighting in KAMI, the highlighted part will be covered by a solid color, the highlighted text will not be readable.
