These This troubleshooting steps will cater to current issues encountered after updating to Weava’s 1.50.15 version. To cater to the current issues, our developers have updated the troubleshooting stepsguide will walk you through how to troubleshoot any issues while using Weava. These steps can be performed once you initially encountered an issue.

Before doing these steps, please make sure that you have updated your Weava chrome Chrome extension (link)

  1. Clear site data on your Weava web browser
    1.1 Go to  https://www.weavatools.com/app/login   then right-click your screen. Select the (1) Inspect option.

    1.2 Select the (1) Applications tab then click the (2) Clear Site

  2. Clear site data on the Chrome Extension
    2.1 Go to the “Manage extension

2.2 Open “Developers Mode” on the upper right side of the page

2.3 Click the “Background Page”

2.4 Click “Application” then “Clear Site Data”. After clearing the site data on the extension itself, you can turn off the developer mode again

3. Refresh the Weava extension on the manage extension of your browser again.

4.Re-login to your Weava account (Please refresh the signup page first)

5. Go to the website that you wish to highlight then refresh the page again on where you will do the highlight (You only need to refresh one specific page that you wish to highlight, after that, all webpages will be available to highlight).

When you highlight on a website and the highlights did not get reflected on your Weava dashboard, just click the refresh button. Although this is not the usual process and your highlights should be saved automatically after highlighting, our developers are already working on applying fixes to this specific issue. Rest assured that the highlight functionality is already working, you just need to refresh your dashboard in the meantime for the highlights to reflect in the Weava dashboard. The refresh process is only temporary and will be fixed as soon as possible.
